Christian Quevedo is an award winning artist and a Coachella Valley native. His versatile skills as a singer and actor have made him highly visible in opera, musical theatre, choral work, oratorio and as a soloist. Noted for countless musical endeavors and performances regionally and nationally. Quevedo has worked with high caliber organizations such as, the California Desert Chorale under the baton of Timothy Bruneau, Coachella Valley Classical Voices under the baton of Doug Nagel, Palm Sprigs Gay mens Choir under the baton of Jerry R. Soria-Foust, Palm Springs Opera Guild, Coachella Valley Symphony among many others. Quevedo has been described as "a power house artist with a superb and exquisite voice and a strong captivating stage presence," by Broadway world and Coachella Valley Weekly. Some of Quevedo's recent opera highlight credits include: Aids Quilt Songbook, Pauline Viardots Cendrillon (Prince Charming), Robert Schumanns song cycle Liederkreis Op. 39; Richard Strauss's opera Salome (Narraboth), The Book of Longing by Phillip Glass, I was looking at the Ceiling and then I saw the Sky by John Adams, Opera in the Trenches, scenes from Cossi fan tutte, La fille du regiment, and La Grande-Duchesse de Gérolstein. Quevedo’s recent musical theatre credits include: Little Women (Professor Baer), Sweeney Todd (Anthony), Les Miserable (Marius) Rocky Horror Picture Show (Eddie), Oklahoma (Curly), and Rent (Roger). Additional concert performances include: Duruflé's Requiem, Schuberts Mass in G, Handel’s Messiah,Verdi’s Requiem and John Rutter’s Mass of the Children.
